Game Rules
How to Play
- One player creates a game (Host) and shares the 5-digit game code with others. To host, you need a Host PIN — ask Kirill.
- Other players join using the code and pick a name.
- Players take turns being the Explainer. The Explainer sees a word on their screen (in English) and must explain it using simple target language — without saying the word itself. The game works for any language: Finnish, German, Spanish, etc.
- Everyone else listens and tries to guess the word. But the real goal is not to guess as fast as possible — let the Explainer speak! The game is about practicing and improving the ability to express yourself in the language.
- When the group guesses correctly, the Explainer taps I'm Done and the turn moves to the next player.
- If the word is too hard, the Explainer can tap Skip to get a new one.
Host Tips
- Keep your screen unlocked — the Host's device needs to stay active during the game.
- The Host has extra controls: Next Word changes the word for the current Explainer, and Next Player moves the turn forward.
Each player is responsible for tapping I'm Done when their turn is over. The Host can advance turns manually if needed.
